GHAR - 24h Adventure Race

• 080713 GHAR 2008 Results
It was a fierce race with the leaderboard changing all the
time. No one could relax. The teams that looked like winners
from the start was not able to deliver. In the end IKSU in the
male class, FJS in mix and IKSU in the womens class came up on
top and took home the prize check of a total 30.000SEK.
The teams that finished 2-3 in respective class did not get
the prize money but beat the course and very established teams
on the Swedish multisport scene such as Herkules, Herkules
Mixed, Bjurfors, City Wolfs, Tieto Enator and FJS.
The weather conditions changed from sunny to pooring rain
during the race wich made conditions hard, wet and cold. Some
teams were caught by heavy winds in the dark out on Mjörn and
decided to withdraw.
We will come back with a longer story as soon as possible.

We have put together a document that you can download

and up to date leader board. You can also follow the race with
live tracking of all participants by GPS on
www.multisportlive.com. Tomorrow around 19:00 we will present
some interesting places and times when the public will get a
good view of the teams and watch the race live. See you

• 080710 Energy from Enervit
Before the race Enervit will provide the racers with Enervit G drink powder. You will be able to stock up in own plastic bags for later use during the race. First come first served. Some products from the rest of their sortiment will also be for sale.
• 080708 Updated PM again
We have added the logistics section to the PM and updated
the course description since we missed adding TA3 in previos
versions. You are now also allowed to check in sack A at TA 1.

• 080707 Updated PM
We have made some minor adjustments to the course which has some impact
on expected race times. These are now updated in the PM. The
prologue will be slightly longer than earlier communicated
while some of the other stages will be slightly shorter.
Please note that the expected times are for the winners of the
male class. Transition times are not included in estimates.
Times only show expected effective time on the course. The
rules part of the PM is also updated. The text about bell on
the MTB has been removed. You can find the updated Race PM
here.

There will be a rope works (descending) skill check for all competitors at Herkulesgården 18.30 to 22.30 on friday.

teams based on the percentage of teams starting in that class.
